Dark Room Light Room

So I thought I would give you all a run down of a typical day. I wake up at 8AM followed by breakfast at 8:30 after breakfast we meet in the "Dark Room" which is our classroom. We set up all our gear on our table: laptop, card reader, external harddrives, power supplies and extension chords, piles of compact flash cards and so on. We download all our photos from the previous day and make our selections in Lightroom. Lightroom is a fantastic program for editing photos, very simple to use and relatively inexpensive. Lightroom was designed for Mac but is compatible with PC however it can be somewhat harder to use, but is still easier than most other programs. After we make our selections we upload them to the main computer in the room and they are projected on the main screen for review. When this is all finished around 1pm yes 9-1 every day in the "Dark room". After lunch we hit the towns and villages until 6 or 7 at night when we have our 5 course meal. Then when dinner is done around 10:30 we head back to the hotel. That wraps u another day.

Day 2 Model Shoot 1

Time for more feed back the color and resolution is kind of off because of this website:

Okay so I need some feed back: Warning these photos are poor quality. Hopefully the ones I upload tomorrow will be better.

6 things I have learned

1. Sh!t is contextual just like photography
- Basically you decided what your photo means don't let someone manipulate your photos with captions. According to Tomas Sh!t can mean a variety of things ad trust me he uses the word in every meaning

2. Everytime you put a card in your camera reformat it
- Just because you delete all the photos doesn't mean the card is empty

3. Thank God for Mac
- It would take twice as long to work with photos if I had a PC

4. RAW is better in all cases shooting photos and meat
- RAW allows you to encompass the full spectrum of colors

5. Chaos is good Crazy is good stay away from the norm

6. This weeks is going to be crazy

San Quirico d'Orcia, Italy

3 planes 2 cars and a Train later I Finally made it the the Hotel Residence Casanova in San Quirico d'Orcia, Italy. The Air France Flight from Atlanta to Paris was horrible I didn't sleep at all and the food was not up to par. (note: to all never fly Air France) I arrived in Paris 10 mins. after my connecting flight left so I missed that flight and was bumped to the following flight. I arrived at the hotel in Florence around 2pm, took a nap, then I went and got dinner at the hotel restaurant. The following morning I woke up had breakfast and then went to the Train Station in Florence. Finding a train can be more difficult than it seems lets just say i picked one got on and prayed that it would be the right train. Not really but it was close enough lol. I finally got to to Chiusi and the to San Quirico by car. now I'm sitting in the lobby using the internet well it more than just a lobby lol I'll also post some picture of the room.
